Glory Day Loflin

7.JPG

Glory Day Loflin is most assuredly a Southern artist. The content of her work revolves around her every day experiences with the people, places, and ideas local to her hometown in South Carolina. Much of her work takes the form of paintings, drawings, and collages with the occasional sculpture, essay, or song thrown into the mix. Educated as a dancer before the visual arts, the most important part of her work are the strong lines that define all the shapes, patterns, and forms she creates. Post graduating from Cooper Union in 2014, Glory Day has spent most of her time reinvesting in the community through mural painting, artist assisting, and teaching.
